Building upon 878 AD, we want to create a larger attraction to celebrate the legacy of the Anglo-Saxons and highlight their ongoing relevance to our lives today. It will be a major city centre draw for locals and tourists alike, and we hope to be able to secure a landmark building which befits our ambitious plans.

It is our goal that heritage and culture will be recognised and celebrated as key drivers of the city’s popularity and economic success, and that our vision will inspire further bold and exciting initiatives into the future.
